Warm wishes for the new year! We’re kicking off 2026 with some exciting updates, funding opportunities and timely resources to support the vital work happening in communities across the nation.
Requests for Proposals Now Open
We are now accepting proposals for the 2026-2027 C3 cohort. Organizations are encouraged to apply for funding to develop and scale innovative, volunteer-driven nonmedical assistance programs that support family caregivers, older adults and adults with disabilities.
Successful applications will be awarded 18-month grants ranging from $30,000 to $200,000 to support local programs that help individuals remain independent, reduce caregiver burden and strengthen community-based support systems.
Key Dates
- Applications due: February 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET
- Grant period: May 1, 2026 – October 31, 2027

Better Caregiving for All Webinar Series
The UCLA Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Program, with support from the Arthur N. Rupe Foundation, hosts Better Caregiving for All, a monthly virtual webinar series focused on expanding access to dementia caregiver education.
Each session is offered live on Zoom and available on demand, with content centered on the experiences and needs of communities often overlooked in traditional caregiver training. Through perspectives from local experts and caregivers with lived experience, the series shares practical and effective dementia care.
