Community Care Corps (C3) is thrilled to announce a new Request for Proposals! We will be awarding 18-month grants ranging in size from $30,000 to $200,000 to organizations developing, expanding or refining innovative local models that provide volunteer nonmedical assistance to help older adults, adults with disabilities and family caregivers maintain their independence, health and well-being.
The first four grantee cohorts represented a diverse cross-section of the nation. C3 has funded grantees across 40 different states who serve urban/suburban/rural/frontier, tribal communities, limited English-speaking populations and underserved communities.

Check out these resources below to learn more about our past and current grantees:
- Our Annual Snapshots Publications (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) are a great resource for prospective applicants to familiarize themselves with grantee organizations, the communities they engage and the innovations they implement. Each publication includes individual program summaries consisting of descriptions of unmet community needs, overviews of how grantee models are responding and their future plans for program enhancement.
- The Community Care Corps Vimeo Channel is home to more than 200 videos spotlighting the stories and experiences of individuals engaged by grantee models. Volunteers, caregivers, care recipients and staff members have shared their perspectives on how participation in the program has impacted them personally and benefitted the communities to which they belong.
- The newly published Interim Report outlines key findings from grantee survey data, demonstrating how C3 has affected the quality of life for care recipients, caregivers and volunteers. This evaluation shows that C3 effectively establishes and strengthens volunteer assistance that can help meet unmet needs in our challenging caregiving landscape.
- The Learning Library is a no-cost, public tool consisting of best practices, tips and tricks, lessons learned and valuable resources collected from C3 grantees. Using this resource, informed by previous grantee models, organizations can develop their own nonmedical volunteer programs to assist family caregivers and care recipients.
If your organization is committed to increasing the availability of vital nonmedical assistance to family caregivers, older adults and adults with disabilities, apply to become a C3 grantee today!
